Independents needed to stop the rubber stamp

"I appreciate that the independent directors of Seven Network Ltd recommend voting in favour of the scheme, but I just wonder whether in light of what I might call the overlapping interests it would not be for everybody's benefit and the benefit of the court in exercising its jurisdiction to appoint counsel amicus curiae so that I have another view."
